I was wondering whether non-carbon based aliens could evolve to be as smart or smarter than humans
few contesters are: Silicon-based life, Boron/nitrogen-based life and finally Phosphorus/Arsenic based life
I know that Fire will be an inequitable technology in these scenarios but that does not mean that intelligence cannot be evolved
according to first contact episode, I think this will be a scenario 7 or 8 where we encounter them or learn of their presence by other aliens
I hope that this is enough to plant a seed of thought on your mind and hope to hear your view on this topic soon.

This albiet not direcrtly was discussed earlier this year in a brainstorming session as we talked about non carbon based life forms. There would be differences, mainly chemical reactions; sugars, etc that would differ, however, imo, I don't feel overall its a huge detriment to say silicone based life. Other, heavy metal based life forms may have greater challenges to overcome, but on long enough time lines, if life forms, intelligence may be a path that their evolution could still take. Complex life does not imply intelligence WILL arise however, even on insanley long timelines. Evolution can run backwards, not just forward.

    Edit: spelling
    I am sleepy okay! lol
